During 2024 we will be celebrating our 15th year in operation!

To celebrate we thought we’d take you through a major highlight from each year since 2008…

2008

Optimum Medical Solutions was established in the UK, working with small hospices and private care homes.

2009

We were awarded our first national contract with the Department for Health in the UK.

2010

We established our first international partnership and began trading internationally.

2014

We rebranded Optimum Medical Solutions to a much sleeker Optimum Medical, updating our vision and values for the company to support our plans for the future.

2015

We launched our first product within our Ugo Urology range!

2016

We launched our first service home delivery service in the form of Optimum Delivered.

 

2017

It wasn’t until the year after that we dipped our toe into ecommerce, launching Shop Optimum, which allowed use to meet the needs of people wanting to purchase medical devices online.

2018

We outgrew our offices in Armley, Leeds and moved to Tennant Hall, Leeds.

2019

Shop Optimum was expanded to service international customers.

2020

We launched our extremely popular infection prevention and PPE range, OptiPro.

2021

Our biggest service development yet, Vyne – our DAC was launched.

2022

In 2022 Hunter Urology joined the Optimum Medical Group. The partnership allowed us to offer an extensive range of Intermittent Self-Catheterisation (ISC) catheters.

 

 

2023

Nexus Nephrostomy UK joined the Optimum Medical Group. NUK is a specialised manufacturer solely for people that have nephrostomy catheters.
