  • I’m particularly pleased with the Ugo Leg Bags with the short tubes because I’ll be able to position those higher up, perhaps on my thigh, so I can wear my sundresses (when we get some sun that is). The lever tap on the leg bags is much easier for my husband to be able to handle – especially having big hands and fingers. The lever tap stays closed too – that was another problem I’d encountered before with other bags.

  • Anyone who suffers with eczema knows that adhesives cause sores and make the skin dry and itchy. The Ugo Fix Gentle secures the catheter in place without adhesive, is comfortable to wear and is really easy to remove after use.   • The Ugo 2L Drainage Bags are very good. They have a large capacity for overnight drainage, there’s no kinking in the tubes and they’re easy to connect. They are very secure once connected and the non-return valve to prevent urine going back up the drainage tube is a very good idea. A lot of other products I have tried don’t have this built in which can result in accidents.

  • I use OptiLube 5g sachets several times a day. I had cancer and my voice box was removed so I have to breath and voice through a hole in my neck called a stoma. I have a stoma stud which houses a filter to protect my lungs. The hole in my neck became very sore so I was unable to insert the stoma stud which as you can imagine was not ideal.   • My husband has a urethral stricture which was the result of an operation he had as a child. He self catheterises once a week usually as this keeps the stricture open.
