The role of Field Sales Account Manager is to build on current relationships and establish new and exciting partnerships in the Primary and Secondary sectors. We are looking for experienced field sales account managers who have a ‘can do’ attitude and a creative approach to building trusted long-term relationships. Ideal candidates will have experience in selling into the healthcare sector, ideally within medical devices. Being responsible for their own territory they will also work alongside our nursing team to drive business through our Vyne DAC (Dispensing Appliance Contract)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • To manage and grow an existing account base, encompassing Primary and Secondary Care NHS Trusts, ICS, PBP’s , PCN’s and Care Homes.
  • Working within Integrated Care Boards with Continence Teams to gain formulary inclusion and working with Continence Nurse Specialists and Care Homes to drive prescriptions in the community.
  • Identifying key opinion leaders forming relationships to roll out the Optimum Package.
  • Being a brand ambassador and building trusted long-term relationships through face-to-face meetings with Multi-Disciplinary Teams procurement personnel and key decision makers within the Trust and ICB.
  • Responsible for the entire sales cycle from identification of new business opportunities, lead generation and initial contact through to deal completion and after-sales care

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-year B2B field sales experience within Medical Devices
  • Proven track record of successful new business development, negotiating transactions and creatively building trusted long-term relationships with a range of stakeholders;
  • Strong, convincing personality with a ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • An understanding of the NHS and how it works
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of medical sales in the Primary and Acute Care markets
  • Experience of working with a DAC (Dispensing Appliance Contractor)
  • Full clean driving license (Daily travel is a vital part of the role across the territory. Occasional travel to our head office in Leeds will also be required)
